Teaching the UnitThis Unit can be completely differentiated and customized according to your classroom's needs. The purpose of the unit is to have students create their own multimodal learning resources to interact with the museum and teach their peers. The Unit is appropriate for grades 3-5 according to standards from the PA Core Standards for English Language Arts.
Students will be using their Multimodal Learning Resources to teach their peers what they have learned while they are at the museum. With the students acting as "Tour Guides" they are able to become experts on the topic. Also, this enhances the experience for their peers, as they are all learning and sharing to enhance the museum experience.
